Select Water Solutions Announces Second Quarter 2026 Financial, Operational and Strategic Updates
Generated second quarter 2026 consolidated revenue of $396 million, an increase of $30 million or 8% sequentially, as compared to the first quarter of 2026
Increased net income by $13 million and improved Adjusted EBITDA by $15 million sequentially during the second quarter of 2026 relative to the first quarter of 2026
Generated record Water Infrastructure revenue of $102 million, an increase of $5 million or 5% as compared to the first quarter of 2026, and an increase of $21 million or 26% as compared to the second quarter of 2025
Generated record Chemical Technologies revenue of $96 million, an increase of $18 million or 23% sequentially, as compared to the first quarter of 2026
Executed Definitive Agreement with a large public operator for the conveyance of 14 saltwater disposal wells (“SWDs”) as well as the development of a new pipeline project supported by a 128-million-barrel minimum volume commitment in the Northern Delaware Basin
Gainesville, TX – August 4, 2026 – Select Water Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: WTTR) (“Select,” the “Company,” “we” or “us”), a leading provider of sustainable water and chemical solutions, today announced its financial and operating results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
John Schmitz, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO, stated, “The second quarter was a very strong quarter for Select across all three operating segments, with both our Water Infrastructure and Chemical Technologies segments producing record revenue and gross profit in the quarter. During the second quarter of 2026, we delivered strong consolidated revenue and gross profit growth, resulting in $23 million of net income and $93 million of Adjusted EBITDA, respectively.
“We continue to increase our produced water volumes handled in the Water Infrastructure segment, with approximately 1.5 million barrels of produced water recycled or disposed per day in the second quarter, while also seeing the benefit of increased skim oil volumes and pricing, resulting in record quarterly revenue of $102 million and gross margins before D&A of 58% for the segment in the second quarter. We expect to see further growth in the third quarter and are well on track to meet the upper end of our full year guidance for the segment, setting the stage for solid year-over-year growth into 2027. Further supporting this growth profile is the expansion of our multi-basin relationship and operations with a key customer through the execution of a strategic minimum volume commitment contract award, comprised of a 128-million-barrel commitment over a seven-year term. Furthermore, the agreement includes the direct conveyance of a portfolio of underutilized, but strategic SWDs across Lea and Eddy Counties, New Mexico. We continue to find ways to collaborate with our customers to maximize the value of existing assets and to optimize produced water management as part of their long-term development planning. We view this contract as a strong validation of the strategic value proposition of Select’s broad and expanding commercial network of integrated recycling and disposal solutions.
“As our system continues to grow throughout the Northern Delaware Basin, Select’s backlog of potential opportunities has continued to evolve as well, and we are acutely focused on prudent growth that prioritizes long-term contracts, strong cash flow streams, and increased utilization across our networks. In support of our latest infrastructure contract awards and opportunities, we now expect net capital expenditures of $250 – $290 million in 2026.
“Elsewhere, our Chemical Technologies segment saw significant sequential improvement, coming in well above our expectations, with a 23% increase in revenue and 30% increase in gross profit before D&A as compared to the first quarter of 2026. The $96 million of Chemical Technologies revenue in the second quarter was a segment record, and we continue to identify ways to deliver strong margins, despite increases to oil-based raw material input costs, with margins of 20% in the quarter. Our in-basin manufacturing, rapid new product development pace, and steady field execution have driven market share gains while increased completions intensity and complexity, and growing interest in surfactant technology, have supported increased demand for our higher margin product offerings.
“Our Water Services segment also outperformed our expectations during the second quarter, with revenue growth of 4% and gross profit before D&A growth of 9% as compared to the first quarter of 2026. We have bee

Select Water Solutions Announces First Quarter 2026 Financial, Operational and Strategic Updates
Generated first quarter 2026 consolidated revenue of $366 million, an increase of $19 million or 6%, as compared to the fourth quarter of 2025
Increased net income by $11 million and improved adjusted EBITDA by $13 million sequentially during the first quarter of 2026 relative to the fourth quarter of 2025
Generated record quarterly Water Infrastructure revenue of $97 million during the first quarter of 2026, an increase of $16 million or 19%, as compared to the fourth quarter of 2025
Announces multiple new long-term contracted Water Infrastructure projects in the Permian, Bakken, MidCon and Northeast regions
Announces $28.6 million of acquisitions, closed during early May 2026, adding surface acreage and minerals, disposal capacity, water rights, and storage infrastructure in the Northern Delaware Basin
Gainesville, TX – May 5, 2026 – Select Water Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: WTTR) (“Select” or the “Company”), a leading provider of sustainable water and chemical solutions, today announced its financial and operating results for the quarter ended March 31, 2026.
John Schmitz, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO, stated, “The first quarter represented a strong start to the year for Select. During the first quarter of 2026, we delivered strong consolidated revenue growth, coupled with an increase in our gross margins, and drove an $11.5 million increase in net income and adjusted EBITDA growth of $13.5 million when compared to the fourth quarter of 2025. In addition to this operational performance, during the first quarter, we enhanced our balance sheet and financial flexibility and are well positioned to support our continued investment in infrastructure growth.
“In our Water Infrastructure segment, we increased both our recycling and disposal volumes during the first quarter of 2026, with approximately 1.4 million barrels of produced water recycled or disposed per day, resulting in record quarterly segment revenue of $96.7 million. We continue to leverage our system to get the maximum value out of our invested capital through increased commercialization and contracted service offering expansion. Since year-end, we have executed several new contracts across multiple basins that leverage our existing networks to provide incremental committed volumes, tie-in opportunities, or increased produced water flows and utilization through our system. For example, during the first quarter of 2026, we were able to leverage our market leading disposal position in the Northeast to sign a new long-term disposal dedication agreement while concurrently becoming the preferred last-mile logistics water transfer provider for this same customer. In total, since the beginning of the year we added three new minimum volume commitments (“MVCs”), two additional acreage dedications, two new right-of-first-refusal (“ROFR”) dedications, and eight new interruptible agreements to our networks across the Permian, Northeast, Bakken and MidCon regions. Subsequent to quarter end, we also closed on multiple acquisitions in the Northern Delaware Basin, adding approximately 4,000 acres of surface and minerals, 30,000 barrels per day of disposal capacity, 1,800-acre feet of annual water rights and 500,000 barrels of storage across Texas and New Mexico. We expect these acquisitions to integrate efficiently and bolster the operational and economic potential of our Northern Delaware network. We will continue to pursue opportunities to tactically add to our footprint in the region.
“Supported by the strong outperformance during the first quarter, our Water Infrastructure segment is well on track to exceed the high end of our previously guided range of 20 – 25% year-over-year growth. While we expect a relatively steady second quarter for the segment, with additional projects coming online over the course of the second and third quarters, we expect continued growth throughout the second half of 2026, leading us to increase our full-year guidance to 25 – 30% year-over-year growth for the segment. With additional infrastructure contracts in hand and near-term network integration capital requirements associated with our recent acquisitions, we now expect net capital expenditures in 2026 to increase to $200 – $250 million.
“Our Chemical Technologies segment performed as expected in the first quarter and we expect strong double-digit percentage sequential revenue growth during the second quarter. With continued demand for new product development in both our core friction reducer product lines as well as our specialty surfactant product offerings, we be

On November 1, 2022, the Company and SES Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of the Company, completed the acquisition of all of the equity interests in Breakwater Energy Services, LLC (“Breakwater”), a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of Break-Starr Holdings, LLC (“Break-Starr”) that provides water transfer, infrastructure and advanced recycling solutions in the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford Shale, for consideration of 9,181,144 shares of the Company’s Class A common stock, par value $0.01 per share (“Class A common stock”), which were issued to Break-Starr and certain other owners and employees of Breakwater, subject to standard post-closing adjustments. Also on November 1, 2022, the Company and Select Agua Libre Midstream, LLC, a subsidiary of the Company, completed the acquisition of certain water gathering pipeline and disposal assets in the Bakken Shale from Cypress Environmental Solutions, LLC (“Cypress”), for consideration of 952,753 shares of the Company’s Class A common stock, which were issued to Cypress.
The shares issued in each of the transactions described above were issued in reliance upon the exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”), provided by Section 4(a)(2) of the Securities Act as sales by an issuer not involving any public offering. The Company’s reliance upon Section 4(a)(2) of the Securities Act, in each case, was based upon the following factors: (a) the issuance of the shares was an isolated private transaction by the Company that did not involve a public offering, (b) there was a limited number of recipients and (c) representations from the recipients to support such exemption, including with respect to their status as an “accredited investor” (as that term is defined in Rule 501(a) of Regulation D promulgated under Section 4(a)(2) of the Securities Act).

This page provides Select Water Solutions Inc. (WTTR) earnings call transcripts from SEC 8-K filings along with AI-powered predictions for post-earnings price movements. Our machine learning models analyze historical earnings data, pre-earnings price patterns, volume changes, and volatility to predict 1-day, 5-day, and 20-day returns after each earnings release.
Earnings transcripts are sourced directly from SEC EDGAR filings. Predictions are generated using gradient boosting models trained on WTTR's historical earnings reactions. All predicted returns are shown as percentages, and predicted prices are calculated from the closing price at the time of prediction. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
