FISHERS, INDIANA / ACCESSWIRE / November 14, 2024 / American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:AREC) (“American Resources” or the “Company”), a next generation and socially responsible supplier of rare earth and critical elements, carbon and advanced carbon materials to the modern infrastructure and electrification sectors, today announced financial results for the third quarter of 2024. The Company will host a conference call and webcast, today, November 14, 2024, at 4:30 PM ET (details below).
Mark Jensen, Chairman and CEO of American Resources Corporation commented, “We continue to experience significant progress in establishing our strategic positioning across our target markets. Our focus remains on preparing each business for growth as a separate, standalone entity, aligning with our Strategic Committee’s plan to unlock the full value of American Resources. Key steps in this strategy include securing growth capital to scale operations and building world-class teams for each division. Our recent announcement regarding ReElement’s record date and capital raise reinforces our commitment to these objectives, and further advances our path to growth and value creation and we continue to bolster our teams with best-in-class talent to execute on our mission.”
“ReElement Technologies continues to position its breakthrough technology as a world-leading solution for efficient critical mineral refining and continues to be the highest value denominator of our business. Leveraging decades of research, development, and commercialization across various industries, we can produce ultra-pure critical minerals at competitive costs with high throughput. Our multi-mineral, multi-feedstock platform technology is not only environmentally safe but also flexible and modularly scalable, allowing us to deploy refining capacity worldwide, bridging upstream mining and recycling with downstream manufacturing. As we execute our strategy, it’s clear that our solution stands apart, providing unparalleled value for strategic and financial partners while enhancing both energy transition and national security initiatives. Currently, we are producing both ultra-pure rare earth elements and critical battery minerals at our Customer Qualification Plant in Noblesville, Indiana - a unique achievement globally. Moreover, we’ve accomplished this using our own capital, with a vision to catalyze a robust critical mineral supply chain independent of China.”

"We recently rebranded American Carbon as American Infrastructure Corporation to better represent a more diversified resource portfolio aimed at supporting global infrastructure markets, such as our recent acquisition in the iron ore space. Growth capital for American Infrastructure is largely supported by the closing of our previously announced $45 million tax-exempt bond offering for Wyoming County Coal (WCC). Additionally, we recently secured a lease for our McCoy Elkhorn complex with a proven operator, positioning it for near-term production. Both WCC and McCoy Elkhorn are premium facilities capable of producing high-quality mid-vol and high-vol carbon for the global steel industry. Through American Infrastructure’s growth, we’ve consolidated valuable assets focused on high-margin, high-value products, making it strategically positioned as one of the last U.S.-based platforms for metallurgical carbon growth."
"We are actively positioning American Metals as a key aggregator and processor of recycled feedstocks. American Metals is uniquely situated to leverage ReElement’s advanced refining capabilities, handling the preprocessing of end-of-life and off-spec batteries and magnets, which will also enhance ReElement’s long-term margin profile. Through its affiliation with ReElement, American Metals has gained expertise in optimal and efficient processing methods to produce feedstock that can be refined back into ultra-pure critical minerals, while our partnership with LOHUM Cleantech, India’s leading battery recycling and reuse company, further strengthens our market position. Additionally, we are making steady progress on our merger with AI Transportation

FISHERS, INDIANA / ACCESSWIRE / August 19, 2024 / American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:AREC) (“American Resources” or the “Company”), a next generation and socially responsible supplier of rare earth and critical elements, carbon and advanced carbon materials to the new infrastructure and electrification marketplace, today announced financial results for the second quarter of 2024. The Company will host a conference call and webcast, today, August 19, 2024, at 4:30 PM ET (details below).
Mark Jensen, Chairman and CEO of American Resources Corporation commented, “We continue to see tremendous success and momentum in establishing our strategic positioning within our addressable markets. Our strategic focus continues to be on positioning and preparing our businesses for growth as separate, standalone companies, and we have been putting the pieces in place and have begun executing on that plan as we have previously discussed, and which is consistent with our Strategic Committee’s plan of action to better unlock the value of American Resources. These steps include securing the appropriate growth capital to scale operations while also building word-class teams around each business. We recently updated the name of American Carbon to American Infrastructure Corporation to better reflect a more diversified resource mix to supply the global infrastructure markets such as our recent iron ore acquisition. Our growth capital for American Infrastructure is largely supported by the closing of the previously announced $45 million tax-exempt bond offering for Wyoming County Coal (WCC). Additionally, we recently executed a lease on our McCoy Elkhorn complex with a well proven operator to bring production back online this year. Both WCC and McCoy Elkhorn are first class facilities able to produce premium mid vol and high vol carbon for the global steel markets. Development of the WCC complex continues to progress and we are confident we will be producing from its first deep mine later this year as well. Nonetheless, advancing WCC’s development and bringing McCoy Elkhorn back online puts the entire carbon platform in a much stronger position as one of the last U.S.-based metallurgical carbon growth platforms as it prepares for its own public listing.”

Mr. Jensen continued, “ReElement Technologies continues to position its breakthrough technology as the world’s leading solution for efficient critical mineral refining. We benefit from decades of research, development and commercialization in other industries that enable us to produce ultra-pure critical minerals at a low and competitive cost and with high throughput. The efficient attributes of our technology include environmental safety, flexibility to various feedstocks, and modularly scalable which allow us to efficiently and collaboratively deploy refining capacity to bridge upstream mining and recycling with downstream manufacturing almost anywhere in the world. As we continue to execute, it is becoming more evident that our solution stands by itself and continues to separate itself as the most efficient solution to unlock value for strategic and financial partners, while securing our energy and national security. We very recently closed on a successful $150 million tax-exempt bond offering to fund the development of our Kentucky Lithium refining facility which will position ReElement at the U.S.’s largest and most efficient producer of battery-grade lithium, and we are currently working on similar non-dilutive growth capital for our Marion, Indiana Advanced Technology Center. The critical and rare earth elements we refine today are imperative to operate our modern-day technology including electric vehicles, clean energy and defense applications. With our substantial asset base, our breakthrough technology and best-in-class team, we are in a tremendous position to execute upon our mission and create substantial value for our shareholders.”
“Lastly, we continue to position American Metals as an aggregator and processor of recycled feedstocks to feed into ReElement Technologies. American Metals is in a uniq

Mark Jensen, Chairman and CEO of American Resources Corporation commented, “While it’s only been seven weeks from our last update, we continued to see tremendous success and momentum in establishing our strategic positioning within our addressable markets. Our strategic focus continues to be on positioning and preparing our businesses for growth as separate, standalone companies, and we have been putting the pieces in place to execute on that plan as we have previously discussed, and which is consistent with our Strategic Committee’s plan of action to better unlock the value of American Resources. These steps include securing the appropriate growth capital to scale operations while also building word-class teams around each business. Our growth capital for American Carbon is largely supported by the closing of the previously announced tax-exempt bond offering for Wyoming County Coal (WCC), and we believe that complex will be a first class facility producing premium mid vol carbon for the global steel markets. Development of the WCC complex continues to progress and we are confident we will be producing from its first deep mine later this year as we continue to assess longer term options for our carbon platform, such as sales, leases, production and joint venture partnerships. Nonetheless, advancing WCC’s development put the entire carbon platform is a much stronger position as one of the last U.S.-based metallurgical carbon growth platforms. Additionally, we very recently closed on a successful $150 million tax-exempt bond offering to fund the development of our Kentucky Lithium refining facility which will position ReElement at the U.S.’s largest and most efficient producer of battery-grade lithium. It is becoming more evident that ReElement Technologies continues to separate itself as the most efficient critical mineral refining platform in the world. The critical and rare earth elements we refine today are imperative to operate our modern-day technology including electric vehicles, clean energy and defense applications. Our ability to produce a variety of ultra-pure, critical mineral products in a low-cost and environmentally safe commercial scale has put us in a unique position across several supply chains. As we continue to aggressively advance our platform technology and collaborate with partners, it is becoming more evident that we are the most efficient solution for the deployment of sustainable critical mineral refining outside of China. We continue to quietly position American Metals as an aggregator and processor of recycled feedstocks to feed into ReElement. American Metals is in a unique position to leverage ReElements advanced refining capabilities to handle the preprocessing step of end-of-life or off-spec batteries and magnets which also will enhance ReElements long-term margin profile. Lastly, as we continue to execute on our strategic plan, American Resource will continue to evolve by leveraging the unique capabilities and positioning of our current operating companies to diversify into other critical mineral and infrastructure resources to support energy transition and national security interests, similar to American Carbon’s recent acquisition of a 51% interest in an iron ore and titanium resource deposit.”
