The company has one reportable segment, including Franchising, and one non-reportable segment, Leasing. The franchising segment franchises value-oriented retail stores that buy, sell, trade, and consign merchandise as well as provide strategic consulting services relating to franchising. The leasing segment includes the middle-market equipment leasing business and small-ticket financing business. It generates a majority of its revenue from the Franchising segment.

More than a third of the properties are located in New York City, with the other properties located across other regions of the United States, as well as other countries.
