SuRo Capital Corp is a non-diversified closed-end management investment company. The Company's investment objective is to maximize total return, mainly through capital gains on equity and equity-related investments, and to a lesser extent, income from debt investments. It invests mainly in equity securities of rapidly growing, venture capital-backed emerging companies. Investments are made through direct investments, secondary marketplaces, negotiations with selling stockholders, and investment funds or special purpose vehicles (SPVs).
