Nuveen NASDAQ 100 Dynamic Overwrite Fund is a closed-end management investment company. Its investment objective is to seek an attractive total return with less volatility than the Nasdaq 100 Index. Under normal circumstances, the Fund will invest at least 80% of its Assets in an equity portfolio made up of securities comprising the Nasdaq 100 Index (or securities that have economic characteristics that are similar to those securities comprising the Nasdaq 100 Index) that seeks to substantially replicate price movements of the Nasdaq 100 Index and is designed to support the Fund's option strategy.

It also offers short-term unsecured loans and other consumer financial products, and buys and sells second-hand goods. The operating segments of the company are U.S. Pawn, Latin America Pawn, and Other Investments. The U.S. Pawn segment includes all pawn activities in the United States. The Latin America Pawn segment includes all pawn activities in Mexico and other parts of Latin America. The company generates revenue from merchandise sales, jewelry scrapping sales, and pawn service charges, of which key revenue is derived from the merchandise sales, which are mainly collateral forfeited from pawn lending operations and used merchandise purchased from the customers.
