About PCG Pacific Gas & Electric Co.

PG&E is a holding company whose main subsidiary is Pacific Gas and Electric, a regulated utility operating in Central and Northern California that serves 5.3 million electricity customers and 4.6 million gas customers in 47 of the state's 58 counties. PG&E operated under bankruptcy court supervision in 2001-04 during California's energy crisis and in 2019-20 due to wildfire losses. In 2004, PG&E sold its unregulated assets as part of its first postbankruptcy reorganization.

Paychex is a cloud-based human capital management provider offering payroll, compliance, talent management, benefits administration, and retirement services. The firm also provides HR outsourcing services, including professional employer organization, or PEO, offerings, enabling clients to reduce HR overhead.
