The Magnum Ice Cream Company is a spinoff from Unilever, a pure-play company in manufacturing and selling a broad portfolio of ice-cream brands. The company is a global category leader, operating in 80 countries with around 21% market share. TMICC owns four of the world's five largest ice-cream brands: the Heartbrand (an "umbrella" brand with numerous well-known subbrands, which constitutes around 35% of sales), Magnum (23%), Ben & Jerry's (14%), and Cornetto (9%). The business generates about 65% of its revenue in developed markets, with the balance coming from emerging markets.
Brookfield Renewable is a globally diversified, multitechnology owner and operator of clean energy assets. The company's portfolio consists of hydroelectric, wind, solar, and storage facilities in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia and totals over 40 gigawatts of installed capacity. Brookfield Renewable invests in assets directly, as well as with institutional partners, joint venture partners, and through other arrangements. The company offers two separate listings for investors: Brookfield Renewable Partners and Brookfield Renewable Corp.
