It offers tools intended to support business creation and management through an integrated service platform. The company operates through two segments: Applications and Commerce (A&C) and Core Platform (Core). The majority of the company's revenue is derived from the Core Platform segment, which consists of sales of domain registrations and renewals, aftermarket domain sales, website hosting products and website security products. Geographically, it generates the maximum revenue from the United States.

Key mastheads include The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, New York Post, The Times, The Sun, The Australian, Herald Sun, and The Daily Telegraph. Its 61%-owned REA Group is the dominant property listings platform in Australia.
