Ero Copper Corp is a base metals mining company. It is predominantly focused on the production and sale of copper with gold and silver produced and sold as by-products. Ero's operations are segmented between its mines in Brazil, the Caraiba Operations and the Xavantina Operations, its development project, the Tucuma Project in Brazil and corporate. Majority of its revenue is generated from its Caraiba Operations segment which consists of mining operations and processing facilities including the Pilar and Vermelhos underground mines and the Surubim open pit mine.

Through its subsidiaries, the company operates as a financial services organization providing banking and other financial solutions in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas. Its principal products and services include Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking, Mortgage Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management and Trust Services, and others. The company is managed along two operating segments: General Banking and Wealth Management. The General Banking segment, which generates the majority of the revenue, provides all traditional banking products and services, including loan deposits, and also consists of internal operations.
