About DSGX Descartes Systems Group Inc. (The)

Descartes Systems Group provides a software solution that allows users in the shipping industry to communicate with one another. Its core product is the Global Logistics Network, which is best understood as transaction-driven. Descartes charges clients to send/receive messages, data, and documents on the GLN. Customers typically contract for a monthly minimum over a multiyear period. The GLN platform allows Descartes to upsell additional software modules as well, typically provided via a software-as-a-service model.

About MMED MiniMed Group Inc. Common Stock

While MiniMed recently became an independent company again, it began in the 1980s as an upstart pioneer in developing and commercializing insulin pump therapy. Medtronic acquired MiniMed in 2001 and then spun it out in 2026 (though Medtronic still owns roughly 90% of MiniMed shares, which will be relayed to its shareholders as a tax-free distribution in the foreseeable future). MiniMed is the leader in traditional, tubed insulin pumps and also offers continuous glucose monitors, smart insulin pens, and other consumables.
