Alliance Resource Partners LP operates as a coal mining company based in the United States. It has four segments: Illinois Basin, Appalachia, Oil & Gas Royalties, and Coal Royalties. The Illinois Basin comprises underground mining complexes in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, and West Virginia.
