Carter Bankshares Inc is a bank holding company that conducts its business solely through the bank. The Bank earns revenue from interest on loans and securities and fees charged for financial services provided to customers. It offers a full range of deposit services including Lifetime Free Checking, interest checking accounts, savings accounts, retirement accounts and other deposit accounts of various types, ranging from money market accounts to longer-term CDs. The Bank offers a full range of commercial and consumer loans. The Bank also originates and holds fixed and variable-rate mortgage loans and offers home equity lines of credit to its customers.
ACNB Corp is the financial holding company. Through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, it provides a full range of retail and commercial financial services in Pennsylvania and Maryland through its network of community banking offices. It also provides property, casualty, health, life and disability insurance serving personal and commercial clients through offices in Westminster, Maryland, and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and is licensed to do business. The corporation has two reporting segments; the Banking segment which generates the majority of the revenue from banking and wealth management services, including trust and retail brokerage; and ACNB Insurance Services segment which offers a broad range of property and casualty, life and health insurance to both commercial and individual clients.
