The investment objective is to provide current income exempt from regular U.S. federal income and California income taxes. The Trust seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing principally in municipal obligations exempt from U.S. federal income taxes and California income taxes. The Trust invests, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its assets in municipal obligations that are investment grade quality, or are considered by the Trust's investment adviser to be of comparable quality, at the time of investment.
