Banner Corp is a bank holding company. It wholly owns one subsidiary bank, Banner Bank. The Bank's primary business is that of traditional banking institutions, accepting deposits and originating loans in locations surrounding its offices in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho and Utah. Banner Bank also actively participates in the secondary loan markets, engaging in mortgage banking operations largely through the origination and sale of one to four family residential loans.
Sprott Inc is an alternative asset manager. The company has four reportable segments: Exchange Listed Products, which derives key revenue, and includes management services to the company's closed-end physical trusts and exchange-traded funds, both of which are actively traded on public securities exchanges; Managed equities segment provides asset management and sub-advisory services to the company's branded funds, fixed-term LPs and managed accounts; Private strategies which provide lending and streaming activities through limited partnership vehicles; and the Corporate segment which provides capital, balance sheet management and enterprise shared services to the company's subsidiaries.
