UMC's headquarters are in Hsinchu, Taiwan, and it operates 12 fabs in Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan and Singapore, with additional sales offices in Europe, the us, and South Korea. UMC features a diverse customer base that includes Texas Instruments, MediaTek, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Xilinx, and Realtek, supplying a wide range of products applied in communications, display, memory, automotive and more. UMC employs about 20,000 people.
About EVRG Evergy Inc.
Evergy is a regulated electric utility serving eastern Kansas and western Missouri. Major operating subsidiaries include Evergy Metro, Evergy Kansas Central, Evergy Missouri West, and Evergy Transmission Co. The utility has a combined rate base of approximately $20 billion, about half in Kansas and the rest split between Missouri and federal jurisdiction.
